SOUP is a bi-monthly event that supports small to medium sized creative projects in Singapore, through community meals.
For a suggested donation of $5 or more, attendees receive a potluck style dinner, mainly soup with bread, and hear from four presentations ranging from art, social entrepreneurs, environment, education, technology and more. Each presenter has four minutes to share their idea and answer four questions from the audience.
At the event, attendees eat, talk, share resources, enjoy art and vote on the project they support the most. At the end of the night, we count the ballots and the winner goes home with all of the money raised to carry out their project. Winners come back to a future SOUP dinner to report their project’s progress.
Be inspired. Meet people. Support ideas. Have soup.
Send us your idea proposal to Singapore SOUP for a chance to win money, resources and ideas to help you carry out your project. Proposals are due by Sunday, 10 January'16 by 11:59PM for SOUP on January 31, 2016. The Singapore SOUP board meets to discuss and select the proposals which will be presented at the dinner.
